Irritation vs. Infection

I was just hoping for some advice regarding my ear piercings I got done back in May.

I got my lobes and a helix done at the same time. Since then I've been cleaning twice a day and trying not to sleep on the piercings (particularly on the side with the helix). I previously had my lobes done and they have healed nicely.

This time it feels like my lobes are taking forever to heal. They are still painful if they are touched but don't bleed or weep. My ears don't look swollen either.

Could this just be irritation? Will they take longer to heal seeing as I got another piercing at the same time?
