Just watched Gabon, why is it so polarizing?

Ace was a fantastic villain that kept the pre-merge interesting, and Fang's horror story was a great backdrop for the Ken/Crystal underdog team. We got the classic gif of Matty, Corinne, and Sugar.

At the merge, pretty much every single character was a big personality, with the possible exception of Suzie. Everyone filled a great niche and everyone was fun to watch. Randy and Corinne were great villains, Ken was a great anti-hero, and Bob/Sugar/Matty were a great trio of heroes.

I know that people say that the strategy was lacking, but between Bob's 2 fake idols, Sugar and Suzie's flipping, and pretty much everything that Ken did, I'd say there was enough strategy to keep things engaging.

I absolutely loved the season, what do people have against it??
