I successfully toilet trained my 2 kittens... now I just need to find an automatic sensor toilet flusher. Recommendations?
Hi everyone,
First off I understand that some people believe kittens/cats shouldn't be toilet trained and some say it's acceptable. But that's not the focus of this thread.
With 1 cat it would be fine manually flushing the toilet when I come home however if there's 2 it gets a bit trickier. The only solution now is to find an automatic sensor flusher.
I'm researching all around but thought I'd ask r/cats to see if someone has already gone through what I'm going through and found a solution.
Ideally it would flush only a few seconds after activation as sometimes the cats like to dig right into the water afterwards! I do provide something for them to paw into near the toilet to help them cope with that natural instinct. Some sensors I found flush 5 seconds after something leaves the sensor which I think is still too much - or am I just being picky?
It would also ideally also be mounted on a wall, or against the toilet tank itself. The toilet is used only by the cats, not by humans - they have their own personal running toilet room!
All advice is appreciated, thank you!
