Brewster's Millions - The reality TV show.

A film crew shows up on the doorstep of a completely random person and gives them a million dollars in cash and instructions that they have to spend it all in 24 hours and can't have any new possessions at the end of the 24 hour period. After each season the audience decides through a nationwide vote which participant had the most awesome 24 hour experience and that person will win $1 million (they get to keep it this time). If they fail to spend the entire $1 million they are not eligible for the season end prize.

It would be cool because some people could be rural, some could be urban, some could be in places like Vegas, some could be in Ann Arbor, or Anchorage. I would find it fascinating watching how people's minds work under that kind of excited pressure and see the dynamics of how they involve others. Will they go to clubs and buy strangers champagne, or will they spend the money on experiences for their kids, significant others, etc.... And then, how will America decide which experiences are better. We live in an age where young people care more about experiences then material acquisitions. Such a show could reveal a lot about which experiences are meaningful.
