Is my laptop slowly dying?
hi guys! im new to this subreddit but i thought i'd give it a try searching for help, since i can't think of anywhere else to go to.
my laptop - hp pavilion g6 notebook pc - has been slowly losing its touch for the past few months, and without really notizing i can't do basic tasks anymore - for example, i can't run Spotify and Chrome at the same time without one of them crashing for a while -.
i have no idea if this is due to some kind of virus - though i've barely downloaded anything un-legit lately - or just my computer reaching the end of its lifetime, but i would love some assistance since i can't afford a new one anytime soon.
i have no idea what info i should provide about drivers or anything else so if anyone is willing to help, i'll be grateful and willing to do my best following your instructions.
i mostly use my laptop for work so what i need from it is to be able to cope with Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign (and as you can guess that has been a nightmare lately)
i have tried running an avast analysis but it came out just fine (no issues at all with any kind of malware) and deleting software i didn't use (mostly games) thanks in advance!
SPECS (the ones i can think of)
Product name: HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC -as mentioned above- Operative System: Windows 10 Home Processor: Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz RAM Memory: 4 GB
i have no idea what other info i should provide, sorry.
