Best way to theory craft for stam dk?

basically instead of just copying and pasting a build i want to theorycraft my own. I have some experience in pvp so i know sharpened, impen, etc but i don't know what i should shoot for when it comes to weapon dmg, crit, resistance, health/stam/mag. This would be a more dps oriented but i would welcome information for tanking if i decide to sway that way or make a build somewhere in the middle of the two. Any other advice would also be welcomed.
