Title

[META] - Help with delayed release of funds.

Post contents

Hey everyone! I recently received a loan from a user here on r/borrow. However, my PayPal account is fairly young and there aren't many transactions on it. As a result, PayPal is holding my funds up to 21 days! That defeats the purpose of the loan, as the funds will be available way after I need them.

Is there something my loaner can do through PayPal to help release the funds to me quicker? Or am I up the river without a paddle? If I cannot release the funds quicker, can I simply return to loan to him immediately--thus not having to pay back with interest?

It seems silly that this happened, but I suppose the added protection has saved many loaners from scammers. Thanks for the help, r/borrow!
