Should I apply to my school before or after I get approved for TA?

Title. Supervisor said I was good to go to attend my TA briefing, I'm wondering now if I should apply to the college now or wait until after my TA is finalized. It's a community college, so nothing to worry about regarding acceptance. Thanks!
