Dust bath advice

Hi there! I have a one and a half year old chinchilla. He's adorable and the love of my life! However, the mess that's left after his dust baths is a really big hassle. There's always a circular metre of dust left around the bath and he also tracks it around everywhere. I've tried putting the bath in boxes or on towels but the dust still just gets everywhere. Does anyone have any tips for keeping the bath dust contained?
