Joining only lobby crash.

Hey guys, me and a friend want to play this game to gether but when I join his lobby or he joins mine his game crashes. We already tried restarting the game and pc and also verifying game files. Neither of those worked. Does anybody know how to fix this? Sorry for my broken English.
