PC Frame Issues. What's Everyone's Experiences Since Anniversary Update?
First, I want to acknowledge that this doesn't seem to be affecting everyone. However, that has not been the case for myself and many others. Before the Anniversary update (1.35) I was getting a stable 250 fps on the vast majority of the maps. Even the first couple days after the (1.35) update everything seemed to be normal as far as I remember. After that though, I started getting highly variable frame rates (~140-240) and vary sharp drops where I'd lose all frames for about half a second. This made it very difficult and frustrating to play.
Then they released the 1.36 update that patched a few things. The first day it seemed to have moderately improved frame issues. However, as time has passed the frames have become more and more variable and the sharp dips also returned.
I have tried locking my fps to 120 or so and it does reduce the variability of my FPS, but I still get the sharp dips. But I shouldn't need to cap my fps to half of what I used to get.
Anyhow, what's everyone else's experiences? Similar? Different? Don't have the issue?
