[Loan] How do I get a secured loan with terrible credit and no job?

I am looking to get a secured loan, but I have terrible credit and no job. I would be looking for a loan of $1500, and I would use my car that is worth a little over $3000 as collateral. As it stands I am actively looking for a job, and I will probably start one in the next couple of weeks, but I need the money before I would even be able to start one. I am a software developer, so once I start another job, repayment would be quick. But, I know that won't help me secure an initial loan.

Is there any way to leverage my car and income potential to get a short-term secured loan? My credit is poor enough that I was rejected from OneMain. Additionally, I have attempted loans through craigslist, but it seems like everyone I have contacted is trying to scam me. I am extremely desperate, and I really need the loan to get my life back on track, so if you have any suggestions on what I should do, I am more than willing to listen. Thanks!
