Can my employer withhold my monthly bonus after it's already been earned if I resign before the month ends?

Hey, r/legaladvice ! First time caller, long time listener here.

I work in a small retail store with a staff of four that specializes in getting boxes from one place to another, you may know the one. Due to an unfortunate series of events, none of which involve me being in bad standing with the company, I'm considering leaving position within the next week without giving much if any at all notice.

My store gives out monthly for meeting sales goals that are pretty significant, pretty much an extra paycheck a month. We've actually already surpassed the sales goal for the month so the bonus has been earned. Are they required to pay out that bonus regardless if I still work here or should I wait till it's been payed out which will be the first paycheck of next month?

TLDR: Considering quitting with little to no notice. Monthly sales goal has been met qualifying me for a hefty bonus. If I leave before the end of the month are they required to payout the bonus?

Any insight appreciated. Also on mobile so forgive formatting and spelling.
