Help with attachment of selling our house

New User

Last year my parents split up and it's been difficult. I have anxiety but meditation and Buddhist teachings have really helped me with it. I was just told that my mom might have to sell our house, and I'm having a really hard time coming to terms with that even though I know a key Buddhist principle is not to become attached to material things. Obviously it's not just the house, it's the memories and real feeling of "home" and comfort I feel here. I will obviously not feel this way at the new apartment we might get, and I don't know how I can cope with emptying out everything I grew up with. I could use some advice with this, thank you guys.
