The ego of this guy and people like him. Unfortunately many people who have children without thinking (vs the people who DO think first thoroughly then have them; a rarity) have, subconsciously or not, the same vanity.

We may be "selfish" for not having kids (you mean because *edit we don't spend monies for the 1%? Or because *edit we "don't" show love? As if having children is the only way to show/spread love SMH) but at least our head is out of our ass.
