Twitch streaming with Switch, Wii U, Wii, and Dreamcast. Will the HD be enough for me?
I mainly stream PC games, but I'm looking to break into the world of console streaming because I love Nintendo games as much as I do PC gaming. I'm looking to stream with the Switch, Wii U, Wii (mainly for faster-loading GameCube games), and Dreamcast (Shenmue is my guilty pleasure that hasn't graced any other console). I stream with a gaming laptop, so I'm looking into external devices. My googling has lead me to the [HD Game Capture device)(https://www.amazon.com/Elgato-Capture-PlayStation-Definition-Recorder/dp/B00840353W). However, I've also noticed the other, newer, updated capture devices, such as the HD60 and the HD60s.
From my understanding, the 60 devices don't have AV-in anymore, so I can't use them for the Wii and Dreamcast. However, I'm usually on the cutting-edge of technology in order to future-proof myself, so it feels a bit weird to buy a device that's a few years old now (the HD). Will the HD be enough for what I'm planning on using it for? I know that Nintendo consoles aren't the cutting-edge of graphics, not even the Switch, so I don't expect to need some sort of beast of a capture device to stream it. I also don't see myself streaming XB1/PS4 anytime soon.
Thank you!
Edit: Just secured an SNES Classic pre-order, so I guess I need to add that to the streaming mix as well.
