Copper Founder's Blazing Masamune schematic bug?!!

When getting the legendary item "Copper Founder's Blazing Masamune", it gives you one orange legendary item to select as a equipped weapon. However, the rare schematic is a blue sword of the same name that has lower DPS. Am I not able to craft another legendary version of this sword? Anyone know what is going on here?
The rare schematic has 88.3 DPS "blue rare".
The equipped item has 105.9 DPS is a "orange legendary".
