Best types of text to translate INTO the language I'm learning, if I'm practicing for a B2 certificate?
I'm roughly at B1 (I think) and getting ready for a B2 certificate. I'd like to find texts in English to translate into my target language. If I go with newspapers, they're either too technical (politics/economy) or too simple and boring for my tastes (celebs etc.) Literature has too much flowery verbiage which I don't think will help me with the exam. What I need is a very wide range of general-purpose words, including "long" ones that don't appear very frequently, but not words that are too attached to one area of expertise. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what sort of texts are best for practicing translation at my level? I'd greatly appreciate them.
