Temperature gauge high only when AC turned on

Hello, I was hoping you could give me some thoughts on this.. I have a 2007 Accord 4 cylinder with 104k miles and lately I've been noticing that the temperature gauge starts to climb up when I have the AC turned on for a little bit while in traffic. Once I turn off the AC, the temperature goes back down to normal. If I'm on the highway with the AC turned on or if I'm recycling the cabin air, the temperature is normal. I've had the oil and coolant replaced a few weeks ago. Is this something you've seen before?
