Review #1: Booker's
Booker's Bluegill Creek Batch 2016-04 Aged 6 years, 5 months and 28 days. 64% alc/vol 128 proof.
Rocks glass, neat, rested about 10 minutes.
Color Light Amber, caramel
Nose Sweet, fairly mild compared to proof. Smells of nuts, caramel.
Palate Fairly viscous and oily. Not as hot as the 128 proof should produce. It's complex, sweet, spicy and smooth. Taste of peanuts and a caramel praline or turtle candy.
Finish Again, smooth, sweet on the tongue. Desired for more!
Overall Delicious. Amazing. My Favorite. The caramel, chocolate and nuttiness is like a snickers bar in a glass. Very much enjoyed this one. For my first review, hard to set the bar so high. But I would rank this 88/100
