day 5. Feeling almost normal
So here I am going 5 days without any kratom. if I'm completely honest, I wasn't completely absent from kratom as I kept finding little bits here and there. It's been 5 days for the most part though, and the past 3 days I have not taken any whatsoever.
The first 3 days I had gotten no sleep, but I think that was mostly from phenibut withdrawal. I finally got some sleep the past few days and I feel so much better now.
Today I still have stomach issues, a slight headache, and minor RLS. Still can't sleep that well, but nothing serious really at all though. I'm bored but not any more depressed than I was before I started taking kratom. I don't have any anxiety. I feel some what normal. Maybe today could be considered a "Not so great day" but nothing outside normality.
I would say the way I feel today is better than the withdrawal I would get after 6 hours of taking kratom.
Maybe tomorrow will be worst and this PAWS thing I keep hearing about will kick in. I don't know, sure hope not.
Now the hardest thing for me is going to be living life sober and trying to find things that make me happy. I've been depressed for quite some time now, not particularly looking forward to that.
I'll let you all know how I feel in like 3 days from now. You guys have all been a tremendous help. Good luck every one.
EDIT For any one reading this and wondering why you still feel terrible at 5 days... Don't read this post and start thinking you are sincerely depressed and it's not just from kratom WD, trust me, it is. For context, I tapered down significantly the past month. I had several attempts where I took none for 2-3 days then relapsed but kept the dosage less than I was at before I made the attempt. All of that helped reduce my tolerance and lessened the WD to the point where I could finally jump for good. Keep going at it, you will get there.
