Out of the blue contact has me unsettled, thoughts?

I got an out of the blue email today, which happens occasionally since I've been NC for almost a decade, but this one got to me.

My Nparent emailed telling me to move somewhere else due to an upcoming natural disaster and accused me of being racist.

I felt all exposed and weird and confused because it makes me worry that my Nparent saw something about me online and is reacting to it.

The only stuff you find about me online is from almost a decade ago. I don't use much social media and what I have is on lock down. I can't even find myself on google save for that stuff from a decade ago.

If you know where to look, you can find my linkedin profile and I suspect that's what she's looking at. I did work primarily with the same ethnic group for several years, a group that my Nparent despises, so maybe that's what garnered the racist comment.

This concerns me because that website is how I stay connected to people and I do use it to network, however my Nparent can and will fixate on people to the point of calling their place of employment, and I'd hate for that to happen to me again after almost a decade of relative peace.

I just hate how this one short email really got to me and brought back that fear of being monitored by Nparent and that (realistic) fear of Nparent meddling again. I feel exposed without knowing where the exposure occurred. I'm struggling to keep my anxiety in check. I'm worried that my Nparent is having another episode and that I need to be on my guard for escalation. I'm even afraid that my Nparent will somehow see this! It's amazing that even after so many years my Nparent can still command a significant amount of dread.

Anyone have helpful thoughts or similar experiences?
