Citizens of Mandaue and Cebu, college student here with some questions

Hello!

 

I am an architecture student from Manila and one of my proposals is to create a commercial park and cruise terminal located near Cebu’s International Port.

 

My thesis needs to be like a “what if” scenario but more realistic. And so I come to you with questions that will help me understand if a proposal of a Cruise Terminal and Commercial Center would be feasible.

 

The Cruise Terminal by itself is nothing special, so I proposed that a commercial center be attached to it.

 

The commercial center would have a mall and/or group of restaurants with some office spaces above as well as a small hotel that will serve as a transient house or budget hotel that will serve passengers who would disembark from the ships and tour Cebu.

 

My questions are the following:

 

-Where can I find a copy of the Zoning Map of Mandaue City?

-Can you help me identify the occupants of each site depicted by numbers in this image?

 2. Singapore School & Space for Dredging Equipment Servicing? (Not sure if the space for dredging is correct)
 3. Cebu Boardwalk Mall
 4. Asian Shipping Corp. & Smart Rigs Crane Corp.
 5. Gothong Private Wharf
 6. Zuellig Pharma Corp.
 7. FF Cruz Wharf
 8. ?
 9. ?
 10. ? + Southern Ocean Export Int. (There may be two lots here, but I'm not sure)
 11. Benby Enterprises Inc.

The items with question mark are spaces I cannot identify from the internet alone. Also, are these companies still using these lands right now?

 

Also, one more question in case I would travel to Cebu to visit the area. I heard that Cebuanos dislike Tagalog speakers so it’s better if I speak English with them, so If I did, would I still be judged?
