Suggestions for a sensitivity toothpaste that won't burn my mouth and affect my sense of taste?
Hello. I have been trying different toothpastes in an effort to find a hot/cold sensitivity toothpaste that won't burn the insides of my mouth and/or cause a loss in my sense of taste. I know my morning coffee used to taste delicious, but now it tastes like hot, slightly bitter water.
I've found that the potassium nitrate stuff works just fine for my hot/cold sensitivity. Stuff I've tried that burns:
- Sensodyne whitening
- Sensodyne fresh mint
- Sensodyne full protection
- generic Sensodyne (Good Sense w/whitening)
- Crest Pro Health
- Listerine Total Care mouthwash burned worse than all of them.
Stuff that doesn't burn:
- Biotene doesn't burn, but it doesn't have a hot/cold sensitivity additive.
- ACT flouride mouthwash doesn't burn either. Just an observation.
Does anyone have any suggestions or observations that could help me find a toothpaste that doesn't burn my mouth? Especially a hot/cold sensitivity one? Thanks in advance.
