Trouble shooting Etherdelta on a Mac

Hi - looking for some advise here. For some odd reason Etherdelta will not run on my Macbook Pro, which is my main computer. I use MyEtherwallet and just importing the account has worked on all other computers - older Macs as well as ancient Pcs - but on this one , which is actually the newest one - it won't even load the tab that gives me the choice to import the account nor will it load any current prices or trades. First I thought Etherdelta was down, but then I noticed that it worked on all other laptops, just not on this one. I already turned off the fire wall etc.. - any advise what I can try to make it work? I don't use Metamax, but rather just import the account from MyEtherwallet and that has worked fine on the Pcs. thanks!
