Why did Brooke Shields doing a nude scene at 12 in "Pretty Baby" not qualify as child porn?

So I just learned that Brooke Shields did a nude scene in "Pretty Baby" at only 12.

There was also a photographer who took nude pictures of her at age 10, which I guess was also legal.

How is this different than child porn? Why is one thing child porn and not another?
