how to update resume for career change... and still sound appealing?
I'll try to keep this short I've worked retail sales my entire career. From age fourteen, I've worked every position from sales associate, cashier, back of house, supervisor roles, merchandising manager, and up to store manager. I love people, and I love interacting with them on a day-to-day basis, getting to know them, and how their brains tick... all while scurrying around the sales floor, continuing to assist other customers. But I am so over the idea that I'll be stuck working retail the rest of my life, haha Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for all opportunities I'm just looking for something more fulfilling. I'm young. I'm 25. If ever there was an ideal time for a career change, its now. But how do you stand out to employers when you've got job-specific credentials?
