Recuperating after 3 days of "Never give up!" My thoughts on this years assembly.

1st off. Dr pepper arena in Frisco, Tx. 4k in attendance on each day + - 100 and 39 baptized for a 0.01 increase.

Obviously the wife of lot was the main attraction this year, with nothing more than the same old tired talks we've heard a million times before sprinkled around that. The symposium on sunday about imitating animals was wierd, like 7 talks about a different animal and how they endure. Lots of science talk included was wierd as well, like why do they even wade into that conversation when they believe that all animals we see today came out of a box 4k years ago on mt Ararat?

The wife of lot felt SO cheesy. The little out take cut scenes with the music sounded like a bad 70's sitcom (3's company anyone?). But I kinda thought it was fitting since that's about how far behind the times they are, with loose fitting suits and mustaches, no beards or form fitting suits, only the 70's look is acceptable in this org.

The dad in the video was the biggest party pooper/un fun person that has ever existed, which is exactly what a good JW is supposed to be. He looks mentally unstable actually. When the wife is leaving "where are you going!? Out in service!?" If a JW is leaving the house, it better only be for service. His crazy facial expressions when people who are not witnesses come over (and are doing absolutely nothing wrong) is a perfect example of how JW's are the wierd ones, not worldly people.

The last talk on Sunday doubled down on 607 bce and that the end WILL come while the U.S is still the major world power. Repeat, there will NOT be another world power ever on the scene again, Armageddon is coming while the U.S is the major player on the world scene. Write it down!

Oh and "VALOR" will apparently be a theme for the 2018 assembly. Maybe valor to preach a new message of doom? A "changing" message?
