Why are Frontier Defense warpaints not usable on prime titans?

It feels a little insulting, really. I've spent the money on all the prime titans and all the Frontier Defense warpaints but cannot use them together.

I'm loving Frontier Defense so far and enjoying the extra Aegis point(s); but, I'm really missing Ion and Scorch's Prime AI.

Respawn, please let me use the Frontier Defense warpaints on prime titans!
