Is there a way to open this plastic case without breaking it? (Modmic)

So my Modmic has a cable break right at the top part where the cable goes into this plastic thingy. If I have any chance of fixing it I'd need to open the case and hope for there to be enough cable left to solder it back together.

Problem is I dont see any way of opening that thing up. Not sure if it's glued together or even a one-piece and I dont want to use too much force. Can't even google it since I have no idea what this piece is called.

Can anyone help?
