#Announcements for week of August 6, 2017:

• Moltres is available from now until 8/7/17. It is likely that you will be able to catch it all day.

• Zapdos is available from 8/7/17-8/14/17. It is likely that you will not be able to catch it today.

• Lugia may be permanent, or it might only be available until 8/14/17. I am not sure. A japanese announcement indicated it may only be available for a limited time.

• Articuno is no longer available. :(

• We encourage people to use discord to raid. This group has the largest amount of users. Multiple chat platforms are okay to use, but if you are using a highly specific chat for raids, you will probably have a harder time organizing a raid group. The discord channel has five raid sections and a legendary section. A map defining the sections may come out soon.

• You will be able to upvote all pokemon available in pogo in this sub on August 15. About 31 pokemon will be more about 31 times more common than the rest. In the meantime, enjoy seeing moltres and lugia when you upvote!

• If anyone wants to make any art for this sub (backgrounds, banners, etc.) please let me know and I can put your art in rotation. It would be cool to have some seasonal art too I think, if anyone is thinking of looking ahead into making an autumn or winter-themed banner. We can vote on them in a thread or in comments or something. No one expressed interest last month, but that's okay. Something along the lines of 1920x200 or something would be cool. Current banner size is 1200x215. The size limit is 500K. I think I'll change the banner on October 1. Submissions for the October 1 change are due September 28th so that I have a couple of days to implement it. I'm working on our current css and I am somewhat pleased with it but the color scheme and sidebar need tweaking.

#Silph Road Atlas centered on Indianapolis.

I use the atlas as a source to update the googlesheets below. Many people who do not use reddit use the SilphRoad Atlas, so it helps out more than just our community if you post nests there. But if you prefer you can solely update nests on the googlesheets or comment your finds below. I find our little Nest thread still useful because not only does it name the parks, it also provides a link to show where they are on google maps.

Anyone can edit the pokemon column. This leaves the sheet prone to errors, but I believe it is much better to leave a list prone to errors than for it to go without update for days/weeks, and I expect that as a community we will work to keep the list error-free. If you are aware of a nest that is not on the spreadsheet, I can add it for you if you comment below or PM me. Please edit the pokemon on the sheet or in the comments section. (Some users are mobile and not everyone has the google sheets app, I understand.) There is a warning message that will show up when you go to edit it. Ignore it. The warning is just to deter people from messing around with it. If you have any information for the cells marked "Needs updating" please comment or PM me.

This table does not automatically update. For the most updated version and to contribute to which pokemon are in which nest, please click the googlesheets link or the silph road atlas link above.

There is currently no way to update this table automatically. It must be manually updated. I will manually update it every Friday and for the first three days after a nest migration.
