[everything] Thinking about Little finger and his (hopefully impending) death.

SpoilerEverything

So, I think Littlefinger meets his end this season. Too many people are on to his scheming ways and he's stuck in the North, where he's really out of his element. A lot of people are saying Arya shows up just in time to stop his treachery and slit his throat (which I'm fine with).

However, I think the better ending is Sansa executing him. She figures out his plan (possibly trying to kill Bran, since Bran's presence weakens Sansa's position as Lord of Winterfell). And she has guards waiting for him. She turns to Lord Royce and says something about needing his help with the execution. Royce responds that he'll be happy to behead Baelish. Sansa says "no, not to carry it out. To show me how to swing the sword."

I just think it would be so perfect, Caitlyn and Ned's daughter saying the words "in the name of King Jon, I Sansa of house Stark sentence you to die." Then, with one swing, she takes final revenge the man who betrayed her father by honoring his mantra of the person passing the sentence swinging the sword. I don't think it will happen that way, but I hope it does. Seems like a perfect ending for Littlefinger.
