First meeting/ Parent orientation
Hey Scouters, just looking for some input on what everyone covers as part of their new scouting year orientation. I unexpectedly had to step up as Cubmaster which I'm fine with. I am usually the leader out running an activity with the kids and have never sat in on parent orientation. Heres what I figure:
-Review Scoutbook (Thats what we are communicating through) -Review medical forms -Review budget and cost of scouting -Review Popcorn
Does anyone watch the youth protection video with parents? I have a welcome letter with some general info and would like to develop a welcome packet of some sort but that won't be done in time for this year to start. Any ideas are welcome.
