Dotabuff Question - Skill level?

Hi.

I've not really looked at my dota buff in months, so I was curious to see my stats and stuff.

I've been seeing that a lot of my recent games are either High Skill, or Very High Skill.

Does this mean that I played well? Or does it mean the people I was matched with were high matchmaking level/rank? I don't play ranked much anymore, btw. If that makes any difference.
