I probably shouldn't have asked...

On our 36 week appointment (36+4), the OB offered to check me and, because I need some light at the end of this uncomfortable tunnel, I agreed. I've been having Braxton Hicks for awhile now and I know she's super low. He said we're already 2cm, her head is right there, and my "bag of waters" is bulging out (gross?). He said if we make it to 39 weeks, he'd induce - I'm an excellent candidate for induction (he didn't go into what that meant) - but he didn't think we'd go that long.

So of course every day since I'm in a "shit, baby could come any time!" sort of panic. I was convinced we'd go over (and I'd be pregnant forever) and then suddenly friends start offering birth stories of their first baby coming in week 37. At least everything is done for her and I'm possessed with an unholy need to clean the house over and over.
