Recommended transmission fluid change for 2015 Honda Fit? Dealership says warranty is void.

Question in title. Even though i've taken my car in to the same dealership and never missed a scheduled maintenance, my transmission is "acting funny" and the dealership says the warranty is voided because I didn't get it changed at 30k. However, their story has changed a bit (same specialist I talked to). He first said 30k, then 32k.. Again, I've never missed maintenance and have always taken it to this dealership. They said Honda offered to pay 70% of the cost of a new transmission with us paying 30%. Sounds fishy. Am I crazy?

Note - My Honda fit is at 36k miles.
