Is there a way to reset your storm shield base?

The first night I played the game, my friends and I went a little crazy in my base. There's staircases leading to heaven, giant floating platforms, etc. At the end of the day, they serve zero purpose during defense missions and its making it very hard to complete them. Is there a way to just wipe the whole thing and start building fresh? Or do I have to destroy everything one by one?
