I feel like I can't live without my boyfriend. I need help.

Mind ?

So I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for two and a half years now. Things are usually great, we love doing things together and spending time with each other. Maybe too much time. We both have finished our first year of college and are about to start the next one at the end of August. At the end of high school I ended up losing pretty much all of my friends because the group of girls I hung out with had a big falling out. Which is fine, I'm mostly over it. And we went to college(6 hours away from each other) I made friends, but they are too far away from me now to hang out with them. Plus, I'm transferring schools so I won't really be able to see them again. While we were at college my depression of six years started becoming worse(I'm currently on medication and in between therapists so don't worry about that) . I'd cry almost every night and didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. I couldn't help but blame the distance between my boyfriend and I as the cause of all of it. It's the summer now and we barely spend time away from each other, which is nice, but whenever we are apart (ie when he goes to work, needs his alone time) I get severely depressed. I've tried to find hobbies to keep myself occupied but nothing sticks. He does fine when he's not around me. I don't know why I fall apart when I'm not with him. I'm so sick of crying until he comes home. I want to be independant. I have no idea where to start.

Also, I had to make the decision to not go away from college, but to live near my house and go to the local Community College. I know I will be very depressed because being home reminds of being with him and I know I'll only be able to see him once a month. How do I stop myself from becoming so dependant on him for my happiness?
