Coming Out on Facebook

Now that I'm officially out to my close friends, family and my kids, I was thinking I'd come out on Facebook as well for all extended family and friends I don't speak with on a daily basis. I thought maybe just changing my relationship status, writing out a long coming out story, or just a funny I'M GAY meme. Still unsure how to best go about it...

Any experience any of you have to share with this?
