Help? Can't find any food in the Shaded Citadel

Hey guys, don't know if I'm missing something completely obvious here, but I'm trying to make it from the resting place before the series of kelp monster things to the memory crypts in the Shaded Citadel, but I can't find a single source of food throughout the entire road and I only have one part of my hunger filled.

I've been trying this for about two hours now, so does anyone know where I can find food around these parts?
