Smartphones are cock-blockers!

Does anyone else feel like their SO's smartphone has become a barrier between them? I have a few things that have showed up lately that are just bugging the hell out of me.

1. Sitting and watching a movie we rented of Amazon(Avengers 2). SO is sitting there playing on her phone as the movie starts. I should note that she is a big marvel fan so it is not like she was sitting down to watch a movie that wouldn't enjoy. Eventually the movie did one out(damn it should of!) but so often when we are together she is on her phone and she doesn't understand why I'm bothered by it.

2. When she comes to bed at night she is on her phone(playing games). She will be on it for an hour or more. She has this thing where she'll reach out and rub my back or arm now and again and then go back to her phone. Oooh baby I am soooo hot right now to playing second fiddle to a phone.

3. Having a romantic moment and the phone buzzes. Major point loss if your SO reaches for their smartphone to check. Minor point loss because you can feel the shift in their attention. They want to know what popped up. I know what is not popping up.

4. In game app purchases. I think we are up to about $50 bucks a month. OMG this shit is stupid. We can afford it and I have not had a shit fit with her. But I'm annoyed. And then she says she feels bad she is not contributing to the household financially. I lose points for agreeing with her.

5. I love weekend morning sex. I wake up with a happy erection. I want nothing more than to use my happy erection to leisurely arouse and tease my partner until we are sweaty and tired and sleep in for a little longer. Or not(sometimes I'm motivated to get up and make breakfast for her). Regardless, woke up with one of those great happy erections on Sunday. She ground her ass into it and so slipped in nicely. I'm getting a nice rhythm. No hurry. Lets just enjoy this moment. BING. There goes the stupid smart phone. I swear she is playing with it. I can't see because I'm behind her and we are on our sides. I try to reach around her to see if it is there but I think she guessed what I was looking for. Anyways the mood was eventually broken. Casual morning sex was ruined. sigh

I have said things a few times but she seems completely oblivious. Last year for 20th anniversary we are staying at the Wynn in Las Vegas. She asked if we could walk around the Casino to play Pokemon Go. Being the good husband I walked around with her but I still found the whole thing stupid.
