5-6 Months Investment for 70k

I am selling my house in the next month and will be building one that will be done in about 5-6 months. I will have 70k just sitting in a bank account that will be used to close the new house. No other cash is needed for the loan or builder. This will only need to be liquid in 5-6 months. Is there any way to make a little cash in a safe way in that time frame? I hate to just have it sitting there. Thanks
