Feel better but then worse with new dosage?

I've noticed that every time I upper my dosage of levothyroxine I feel better after maybe 2 weeks for a a few days to a week, but then go back to the normal awful or even worse than before. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I should add that I have not found a good dose for me yet.
