Confirmed: Buzz Bee Blizzard is slam-fire only...and they changed the name to the "Barbarian." :(

Does the new Blizzard have a functional trigger or is it just slam-fire?

Good question. The Blizzard (now called the Barbarian) works just like our Sidewinder blaster. The trigger is more for aesthetics and comfort than it is for function. To fire the blaster, all you need to do is pull back and forth on the pump handle underneath the barrel.
