Idea of how normal students histories can derive a lot of mechanics at the same time.

I'm sure you will understand what i meant in the tittle, after reading this idea that crossed to my mind:

This example is about an hyphotetical scenario involving Mei and Yui. Let's say that Mei likes reading, and she pass all the entire time of the morning reading a book in the class 2-2. Mei is not with the group of friends because she prefers to stay in her class reading. Now let's imagine that Yui Rio complains about this fact, and there is a conversation between them where Yui try to convice Mei that she must spend time with her friends again. Yandere-chan could eavesdrop in this conversation and she will see that Mei Mio refuse to stay with her friends because she prefers read. The consequences of do this will make derive a lot of mechanics:

  • Mei Mio profile will be updated saying that she likes reading.

  • Mei Mio information will be updated implying that she is obssesed with reading and refuses to stay with her friends for this fact.

  • Yui Rio information will be updated implying that she cares about Mei's obsession of books, and tries to convince her to pass the time with her friends.

I was imagining that if Yandere-chan heard that conversation, she would unlock Yui's task. After asking for her favor, she would tell you about the problem that she has with Mei reading books. Then, she would ask you if you can steal her book without being spotted by her. Then, this action would derive another mechanics:

  • There will be a new chanllege where you have to steal Mei's book. There is never a point at time when Mei drop her book, so you must distract her, and take the book.

  • The profile of Yui will be updated saying that she hates reading.

If you can steal her book, then, another mechanics can derive of this:

  • Mei profile will be updated saying that she likes friends, since now she aprecciate more the company.

Okay, before someone tell me something like:

"That is a very low priority, YandereDev should focus on implementing essential things before implementing conversations between non-rivals students."

My answer

You know... What if... Osana is sitting in the same classroom where Mei Mio is? What if the only witness that is in the classroom with Osana is Mei, whose girl enjoys reading alone? That would change the things... The main challenge when you are trying to eliminate a rival is trying to kill her without witnesses...

In this case... Mei would be the only witness around, and you could just make her exit the classroom where Osana is doing the process that i described, while you unlock the back histories of normal characters, while you eavesdropped in a conversation between non-rival students and while you learned about the likes and dislikes about normal students.

"Okay, but the process of your example is too short if you have one week to eliminate Osana"

Well, i have one option for solve this:

Maybe Osana would only be in the classroom during the entire morning, for just one or two days, so the player would be forced to do this in the shortest time possible.

This is what i meant in the tittle, eavesdrop in normal students conversations could have an impact in rival's usual routine while you apply a lot of mechanics in normal students at the same time...

PD:Sorry if i express my self bad.
