CTE and affect on NFL player
While everyone is aware of CTE now, I suppose it is giving many players second thoughts on continuing their careers. As we know , in most cases to play at a pro level requires a lot of playing and lots of hitting or being hit. Is it wrong to consider by paying athletes ridicules money there would be no repercussions? It is and always was a "gladiator" style game. While it is fantastic for research to identify and hopefully minimize the current and future affects, it seems like a substantial consideration around the dinner table as one contemplates completing at the next ( or first ) level of the game. Thoughts? not really a shit post , just a vision of the game being reset before our eyes.
