What to do against surprise Huskar pick?

Seriously, got absolutely destroyed when Huskar'd last match. Picked DK against what I imagined to be an Invoker mid. Enemy Huskar could literally walk under tower to kill me from level 4, while I was maxing dragon's blood and eating tangoes. Tried fighting under tower, tried running away. Nothing seemed to help and Huskar went on to get 33 kills that match and absolutely destroyed our team. Played with a bunch of non-English speakers, so asking for rotations or lane swaps was not an option.

Should I have just gone jungle? AFAIK, his damage isn't high enough to activate raindrops save his ult, so that really wasn't an option. Also he doesn't really cast spells so I can't get wand charges. Bottle would maybe help me sustain but then one burning spear and I can't use bottle.

Sorry for the ranting, just a little rattled from the absurd amount of flame I got from that game.
