Is there any point in getting your Aetherpool to 99 in PotD?

If say, all you want to do is speedrun 51-60? If I am not mistaken it's also capped to some degree right? So the maximum effective aetherpool would be...I forgot. Someone help me out here :)

I can still get increases till 70+ on some floors, but I'm not sure what the exact formula is.
