Lyft is ok with 76% acceptance rate now!

In the past they used to say 80% needs work and 90% was ok, but now they have lowered it to 76% as being Ok because they know the demand is high and lots of cancels/ignored pings are necessary for us to maximize our earnings. If a non-primetime ping person doesn't come out on time and the area nearby is surging, I need to cancel fast way before the 5 min timer so I can jump to surge pings. Sometimes time is of the essence.
