Artanis dash causing weird interaction with butcher charge which is problematic

So i was charging this artanis from a distance, and right when i hit him, he actually dash downwards and there is a wall there so i detour and right after detouring i end up going back the same direction again when his dash ends. It causes a really messy disorientation, and screw his movement a lot. It messes up his movement making him do stupid thing for a few second. I thought he would Just follow suit accordingly to where the target currently is, but it seems like doing that provides so much problem and is not smooth sailing. It is like the butcher is acting all confused while all that is happening, not really entirely sure how to possibly explain this.
